History
In 1968 Merle and Frances Weygandt relocated their young family to Barstow from Paso Robles and opened BCS. Since the beginning, BCS has retained the spirit of a family run business with loyal friendships with our many customers that has helped to grow BCS into the multi million dollar company it is today. From its humble beginnings, BCS has continued to be the High Deserts leader in heating, air conditioning and plumbing technologies. BCS is a full service company offering repair, installation for commercial, residential and industrial projects. With sales of over $4 Million in 2008 and well over 8000 clients, we continue to grow as we provide quality services from the State Line of Nevada to Wrightwood. Being the leader in the innovations for heating, air conditioning and plumbing systems also means we have many new opportunities for those who have technical skills and a desire to learn. Our management and staff of more than 50 people have a strong commitment to Customer Satisfaction as evidenced by our goal of “Satisfied Customers for Life!” Stability and loyalty are valued in employee, customer, and supplier relationships. Our suppliers and vendors are industry leaders and include Carrier, Trane, Lennox and Water Furnace among others. We aim to have a positive impact on all those we meet.

	NATE North American Technician Excellence (NATE) is an independent, third-party organization that develops and promotes excellence in the installation and service of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment by recognizing high-quality industry technicians through voluntary testing and certification. Our technicians have passed the rigorous testing necessary to qualify as NATE Certified Technicians.

	ACCA The Air Conditioning Contractor's Association of America is the heating and cooling industry’s leading trade organization. ACCA members adhere to a standard of ethical best practices that is your assurance of quality and professionalism. BCS Mechanical is an active member in good standing with ACCA.

	NCI National Comfort Institute is one of the country’s top training and certification organizations. NCI started in 1992 as National Balancing Institute, a training organization aimed at helping heating and air conditioning contractors provide even comfort throughout homes and businesses using a technique called Air Balancing. This technique, previously only available for large commercial and industrial facilities was refined to work in smaller buildings and homes. As NCI evolved, the organization widened its scope to include a total system approach to design, installation and service of heating and air conditioning systems. We call this approach, “Performance-Based Contracting.” These contractors are different from the average service company because they do more than simply fix or replace equipment. They also focus on maximizing the comfort, safety and energy efficiency of the systems they sell and service.

	MSHA Mine Safety and Health Administration, US Dept of Labor. MSHA’s technical support program applies scientific and engineering solutions to mitigate hazards. Education and training for the mining industry is crucial to the reduction of accidents and illnesses. MSHA ensures that its training specialists and technical support personnel are readily accessible to the mining industry.

	BBB The Better Business Bureau (BBB) system in the U.S. extends across the nation; coast-to-coast, and in Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Since the founding of the first BBB in 1912, the BBB system has proven that the majority of marketplace problems can be solved fairly through the use of voluntary self-regulation and consumer education.

Meet Our Team
	President Bill Weygandt, CM Son of the founders of BCS, began his career in his family HVAC company right out of high school. In 1975 Bill took over the management of the firm. With his many and diverse certifications, Bill has long been known as a leader in our community and our industry. Bill is an integral part of BCS education programs and has been an educator at the Victor Valley College.

	Vice President Dennis Mitchell Head of the Installation Department, Dennis is a certified and licensed plumber and began his career with BCS in 1983. With his vast knowledge of best management practices he oversees and guides the day to day residential heating and air conditioning installations.

	Sales & Marketing Manager BJ Fancette Joined team BCS in 1995 as a Certified Energy Consultant. BJ divides her time between managing staff, visiting clients who are in need of heating and air conditioning systems or diagnostics and creating advertising/ marketing plans for BCS. Coming from an extensive background in Construction Technology and general contracting, BJ heads Marketing and Residential Sales Team.

	Service Support Manager Charles “Warren” Leider 3 Years with BCS, currently manages the day to day customer service department advising the plumbing service and HVAC service technicians and staff. Warren began his BCS career as a sales associate of our ACE hardware store.

	Commercial Installation Manager Chuck Redic Joined BCS in 2010 with his vast knowledge of the Southwest HVAC market. Chuck has over 30 years of HVAC experience with a background in design/build projects for the aerospace, restaurants, public works and grocery store industries.



	Sheetmetal Fabricators Rob DeWittie Rob DeWittie came to work in 1988 as a sheetmetal worker and soon began managing the department. Gilbert Chong Gilbert Chong joined Rob in the sheetmetal fabrication and design shop in 2005. With their combined knowledge of sheetmetal construction they are able to build complex components for our HVAC and plumbing jobs.


	Installers Bob Buroff - Jesse Jaggers - Chris Parnell - Harley Buranek Both residential and commercial installers enjoy the benefit of BCS commitment to their ongoing education so that they will always bring the best quality to any job they perform for our clients.


	Plumbing Installers John Rowe - Frank Hilarides - Ray Steele Commercial, Residential and Industrial plumbing system installations are performed by this well seasoned group of dedicated plumbers.


	Service Technicians Danny Case - Kristopher Bell - Nicholas Rodriguez - Roger Seimears Stephen LuMaye - Dale Brink - James Armstrong Our energetic team of well trained service technicians is our best asset in helping clients. Whether in need of emergency or general servicing repair of heating and cooling systems, our NATE certified technicians bring state of the art, up to date practices into the field. All team members are participants in an ongoing BCS and manufacturers and utility company training programs.


	Service Plumbers Mark DeLaO Mark began his career as a plumber in the US Air Force and when discharged came to work at BCS in our service plumbing department. His vast knowledge and field training have made him a top gun for team BCS. Armando Zamora “Mondo” joined the BCS team in part due to his mother Margie being one of our long term ACE coworkers. He has worked in many capacities at our shop and through hard work and perseverance moved into a plumbers position.


	Customer Service/Support Briana Guerrelle - Katie Samples - Rebecca Brown - Rachel Lannie Our “front line” office staff answers our phones and greets visitors to our business. These ladies will do whatever it takes to have perfectly delighted customers…for life. They each share a deep commitment to professional, fast and courteous help for all our customers.


	Installation Coordinator Anne Mitchell In 1995 Anne joined BCS as the installation coordinator and has been working diligently to ensure all of our residential installations go as planned. She assists with extended warranties, special programs, planning, scheduling jobs and works closely with both the sales and installation teams.


	Accounting Staff Phillip Martin - Tina Gordon - Joleen Weygandt - Tim Christy Sandy oversees all aspects of the accounting functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness of transactions. Her team of professionals goal is accuracy and efficiency in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and other accounting functions. This ensures the best customer and employee service possible. Accounting works closely with our trusted vendors and suppliers for smooth business performance.


	Warehouse Technicians Doug Young - Daniel Hamilton - Mary Murphy - Mel Atsye Receiving, freight handling, expediting and purchasing of stock and inventory are managed by the warehouse team.


	Ace Store Jim Conrad - Michael Steele - Jerry Nyberg - Margie Zamora - Paul Padilla Our fully stocked ACE Hardware store is headed by Jim Conrad and supported by his dedicated staff. BCS ACE is known for our custom fabricated cooler pads which are still made on site by hand. With a full line of hardware, plumbing, painting and gardening supplies. The ACE staff offers help and support to our BCS team as well as to our walk in clients.


	Human Resources Ginger Hancock As part a hiring team, Ginger hires the best trained and experienced people for each of our positions. She works to bring out the best in our employees and makes sure they are offered opportunities for training and merit advancement through their honest work, loyalty and communication.
